Toys and Presents for Your Rabbit:
Christmas and Birthdays are great times to help your rabbit feel special...or, maybe you want to get them something special just "because". Giving them a special treat that they don't normally get or giving them a new toy will get your binky bunny excited!
Rabbits love to explore, they love to see new things, and be apart of things. They are very curious little ones; and quite entertaining. Rabbits love new things, so, you can also do what we often do with our children, and rotate their toys to "make the toys seem new again".
Our bunnies enjoy:
Salt licks (some love these and some ignore them). They do offer essential minerals and nutrients to bunnies to keep them healthy.
Hard balls with the bells in them (hang them from the top of the cage, they love to swing them and play with them)
Golf Balls
Timothy Hay Balls
Ping Pong Balls
Toy Variety Pack for Bunnies
Hard infant toys, such a baby rattles
Toilet paper rolls (cut holes in them and add hay or other treats....hang them from the top of the cage, they love to swing them)
Branches from fruit trees (see our blog about harmful and safe branches) or these sticks
We sometimes add the hard, magnetic alphabet letters to their cage....they have fun knocking them down.
Bunny hammock
Round oatmeal containers to roll around in
Homemade cardboard tunnel or you can purchase a simple tunnel or a tunnel with forts
When we keep their minds occupied and not idle, they seem to live happier and possibly healthier, longer lives. Just like people, it is good to keep their minds busy and on positive things.
